Analysis
Understand the way business flows and make the tools match the organisation’s DNA. Describe the functionality set and the tool configuration.
Focussing on the early stages of web projects, we specialise in delivering high-quality analysis and ready-to-use, actionable deliverables. Your whole project on paper. Early Stage provides all consulting services you need during the analytical phases of web projects: business analysis, workflows and processes, technology and functional analysis, usability consulting, etc. By making those services our core business, we have reach an outstanding level of quality and speed through rigourous proprietary methodologies.
We offer the following services:
Business Analysis & Requirements | Business Analysis for digital projects is the set of tasks, knowledge, and techniques required to identify business needs and determine solutions to business problems. Mostly, our recommendations lead to process improvement or organizational change. The different elements we offer here are listed below.
Project Requirements | The understanding of all the requirements that are needed to start a project successfully is a very important stage that is often forgotten. Therefore we have developed a methodology to gather the real requirements in a quick and logical way.
Project & Product Design | The project or product design is a written statement on the project’s objectives, methods, timetable and resources that will provide the framework for the execution of the project. It should be the first document any project or product manager should write when starting a new project.
Content Analysis | Our content analysis methodology follows a set of procedures for collecting and organizing non structured information into a comprehensible and logical format. Often, for digital projects, the content analysis results in a sitemap that can be used by the content editors to structure their texts. In general it’s finding a balance between the internal organisation’s structure and the external perception of the information the company is providing.
Functionality & Information Architecture | Designing specific models and wireframes to bring order in complex systems is what we mean when we talk about functionality & information architecture. The most common deliverable is the functional analysis where we define and describe the functional set needed for a digital project. It is often the final deliverable before launching an RFP on the market. We believe that a good functional and information architecture help the vendors to deliver better and more complete offers.
Usability & Ergonomics Audit and Guidelines | Usability measures the quality of a user’s experience when interacting with a product or system (how easy is it to use) while ergonomics focus on the global user experience when using a digital interface. At Early Stage we take into account both elements to audit projects and define guidelines in order to help our clients to design better interfaces.
Functional & Technical Analysis | When the functionalities of a project have been determined, they should be described as accurately as possible to guarantee the mutual understanding of all the persons involved, and to check the project’s feasibility, implications, potential and limitations. These documents form the common point of reference for all the players.
IT Consulting | There are a host of technologies which co-exist and change at a speed rarely seen elsewhere. The suitability of the technologies chosen for aims of the project involves aspects of durability, scale, budget, time-scale, prospects and policies. Sinople studies and advises the most appropriate configurations.
Usability & User Experience | The visitor’s impression of a web page is determined by usability rules and standards which are now well understood. Usability is a decisive element in the success of a Web project, and must be taken into account in both the design stage and assessment and improvement ones.
Business Intelligence | The analysis of activity on an Internet site has become an area of special expertise, which includes studies prior to the configuration of capture software, installation and specific development, and the generation of reports which are relevant and adapted to the organisation business. The route taken by a visitor, the pages through which he enters and leaves the site, the reasons for abandoning a site, all this can play a part in the continuous improvement of the site efficiency. Business Intelligence transforms an anonymous visitor into an identified prospect.
